Definitions
Wallet Address is an alphanumeric string or a combination of letters and numbers that identifies a specific wallet location on the blockchain.
Anti-Money Laundering ("AML") refers to activities aimed at anticipating and stopping money laundering practices.
Crypto Assets are intangible commodities in digital form, using cryptography, information technology networks, and distributed ledgers to regulate the creation of new units, verify transactions, and secure transactions without interference from other parties.
Network Fees, also known as transaction fees, are fees paid to execute transactions or smart contracts on the blockchain and serve as compensation for miners.
Processing Fees are fees charged to cover costs associated with payment processing and may vary based on the chosen payment method. For transactions subject to On-Ramp fees, the processing fee is 2% (two percent), and for Off-Ramp fees, the processing fee is 2% (two percent).
Prospective User is an individual in the process of registering on the Normies platform but has not yet completed account verification and thus does not have full access to the platform's services and features.
Fiat refers to money in Indonesian Rupiah.
Intellectual Property Rights include copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, registered designs, and other intellectual property rights (both registered and unregistered) protected under applicable laws and regulations.
Off-Ramp is the activity of transferring or converting existing "Crypto" in the wallet to "Fiat" to a bank account with a minimum transfer amount of IDR 15,000.00 (Fifteen Thousand Rupiah).
On-Ramp is the activity of transferring or converting "Fiat" into "Crypto" into the wallet with a minimum amount of IDR 15,000.00 (Fifteen Thousand Rupiah).
Withdrawal is the process of withdrawing Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) from a bank account.
User (You) refers to an individual who has completed the registration and verification process on the Normies platform, has an active account, and can access and interact with the Normies website.
Bank Account refers to the bank account number entered by the User.
Transaction History is the section that displays the entire transaction history conducted by the User through Normies, including successful Fiat and Crypto Asset transactions, successful withdrawals, and expired transfers.
Community Channels include digital communication platforms, including but not limited to Twitter, Discord, and Telegram, where users can engage in discussions, access updates, and connect with other members.
Normies Website refers to the official online platform operated by Normies, accessible via the URL https://normi.es/, providing information about Normies' services, features, and offerings.
Expired Transactions are transactions that have not been paid for more than the specified time limit, with a transfer time limit of 10 (ten) minutes, after which the status changes to expired.
Platform Purpose
Normies provides a platform designed to simplify cryptocurrency transactions for our users. We streamline the process of buying and selling cryptocurrencies with low fees so that everyone can participate in this exciting new market. We believe that cryptocurrencies have the potential to revolutionize how we think about money, and we want to help people take advantage of this opportunity.
Normies is to be applied the following transaction flow for On-Ramp and Off-ramp services on its website and mobile application :
Access the platform through a browser at ramps.normi.es or via a web-3 wallet browser.
Connect your wallet.
Download a compatible wallet (if necessary).
Complete the wallet connection process (this is done outside the Normies platform).
Once completed, users may create withdrawal or transfer transactions.
However, with the implementation of KYC procedures, the user flow for Normies will be as described below:
User Registration
Normies User Registration Process for Know Your Customer (“KYC”) Implementation
To register as a User, the User needs to provide the following documents: a. On the front page, the Prospective User will be asked to verify the account by entering the Prospective User's email address. b. Next, the User will be directed to enter the OTP Code sent via the registered email. c. After the OTP is verified, the Prospective User will be asked to enter their phone number. d. The Prospective User is required to upload a photo of their ID card and ensure that the data listed on the ID card, such as National Identity Number (NIK), full name, and date of birth, matches the data inputted. Please note that for the withdrawal process (crypto sale/IDR receipt), the User can only use a bank account with the same account holder name as listed on the ID card. e. Next, the Prospective User will be asked to upload a selfie photo according to the guidelines available on the Normies website. f. After the photo is deemed valid, the Prospective User will be directed to the Personal Data page where they must fill out information about their job, income, source of income, and purpose. g. Users can click the "submit" button after completing the form and are expected to wait until the account is verified.
User data will then be screened, and the following checks will be performed.
Normies will receive, store, and provide information to authorized Third Parties to verify all User documents and will accept or reject Users in accordance with Normies' regulations and policies. Accepted or rejected Prospective Users will receive notification via email and can view the KYC process status in the application system.
Normies will only accept Users who are individuals and not legal entities.
User Flow
A. On Ramp
Click "Connect Wallet" and select your preferred wallet. Ensure that your wallet is linked to your browser.
Complete the KYC information.
Select your desired cryptocurrency.
Choose your preferred transfer method.
Ensure all required fields in the form are accurately filled out.
You can complete the transaction.
B. Off Ramp
Click "Connect Wallet" and select your preferred wallet. Ensure that your wallet is linked to your browser.
Complete the KYC information.
Select the currency and fill out the form.
Enter the destination for fund withdrawal.
For the first transaction, you will be asked to enter the name as per your ID.
Click "Sign" from the wallet to proceed.
You can complete the transaction.
Implementation of the Travel Rule
When Users engage in cryptocurrency transactions:
Implementation of the Travel Rule, where if the value of the cryptocurrency to be transacted is less than $1,000, Users are required to provide the following information: 1) User's name; and 2) User's wallet address.
If the value of the cryptocurrency is $1,000 or more, Users are required to provide the following information: 1) User's name; 2) User's wallet address; and 3) User's physical address.
Representations and Warranties
The User has stated that Normies has provided a complete, clear, and accurate explanation regarding Crypto Asset transactions;
The User represents and warrants that they understand Crypto Asset transactions;
The User represents and warrants that Crypto Asset transactions are conducted in accordance with applicable regulations;
The User represents and warrants that the source of funds used is not derived from money laundering and/or unlawful activities;
The User represents and warrants that all losses arising from Crypto Asset transactions will be borne by the User, and Normies will not be held liable for any compensation or indemnification;
The User represents and warrants that they are not listed on the Suspected Terrorist and Terrorist Organization List;
The User represents and warrants that they have the legal capacity to carry out Crypto Asset transactions;
By using Normies, the User acknowledges and accepts the terms outlined herein. Normies offers a platform designed for the purchase and sale of cryptocurrencies, with our primary mission being to simplify cryptocurrency transactions for our users.
By using Normies, you signify your agreement to these terms and conditions, binding yourself to the objectives and principles of Normies.
Obligations and Responsibilities
In carrying out Crypto Asset transactions, in their capacity, the User has the following obligations and responsibilities: a. The User agrees to bear any risks, losses, or consequences suffered by the User caused by, among other things: 1) damage, delay, loss, or misdelivery of orders and communications, electronically caused by the User; 2) Normies Account Reports or notifications of Normies services usage sent to the User being received or read or misused by unauthorized parties over the Normies Account. b. The User understands and agrees that they will use the Normies Account and Services for transactions that do not violate applicable laws and/or Normies' internal policies and/or other applicable regulations both nationally and internationally, directly or indirectly. Normies will not provide compensation and/or liability in any form to the User or any party for any claims and/or demands and/or losses arising from the use of the Services by the User for transactions categorized as suspicious and/or prohibited by applicable laws and/or Normies' internal policies and/or other applicable regulations both nationally and internationally related to the User's activities directly or indirectly.
c. In conducting transactions using the Normies system, the User understands and agrees that there are certain sanctions imposed by governments, including foreign governments, and/or other authorized agencies against certain countries, entities, and individuals. Referring to this, Normies has the right not to execute/process transactions that violate these sanction provisions, and the authorized agencies may require disclosure of related information. Normies is not liable if Normies or other parties fail or delay the execution of transactions or disclose information as a result of direct or indirect violations of these sanction provisions.
Data Updates
Data updates related to AML & CFT (Countering Financing of Terrorism) are as follows:
Analyze User transactions
Update data, information, and/or documents as determined by the Company.
Review User profiles and transactions categorized as medium and/or low risk.
In updating data, the Company must: a. monitor User information and documents. b. prepare a data update plan. c. realize the data update.
Service Cooperation
To facilitate transactions and build a community of Normies users, we have partnered with the following entities: a. Normies uses the API service from CoinGecko to view data comparing cryptocurrency values against other currencies. This helps Normies provide accurate and up-to-date information to Users regarding cryptocurrency exchange rates. b. Normies uses OY! Indonesia's services as a payment gateway. This allows our users to make payments easily and securely when conducting transactions on our platform. c. Normies uses Qontak's services as a Customer Relationship Management ("CRM") system to manage interactions with our users. Additionally, the "Need Help" button on our platform features live chat capabilities, enabling users to communicate directly with our customer support team.
Please note that companies or services not listed on the Normies platform may not or do not yet have a partnership with Normies. Normies does not endorse any company, including those that have partnerships with Normies. Any decision to use such services is the sole responsibility of each User.
Normies hereby clarifies that we do not have an official affiliation with the partners mentioned above. Any transactions that occur between Normies users and partner companies are the responsibility of the respective parties and not Normies.
Complaints
User complaints here refer to notifications of data breaches and/or issues related to transactions conducted by Users. In the event of such issues, the following mechanisms should be followed by Users:
Regarding User complaints, Users have the right to notify Normies in the event of a transaction failure by clicking “click here.”
Users will be directed to fill out the complaint form provided by Normies. The complaint form can be completed directly at https://normi.es/.
The complaint will be promptly addressed with a follow-up within 1 (one) business day and resolution within 3 (three) business days.
If within this period the User does not receive service from Normies, the User may use the "Need Help" feature on Normies.
Intellectual Property
Respecting intellectual property rights is a fundamental principle of Normies. All aspects of the platform, including the code, content, and features, are protected by relevant copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. It is essential to understand Users' rights and responsibilities in this regard:
Ownership and Use of Code You are not permitted to copy, reproduce, or replicate any part of the Normies code without explicit permission from Normies. The code is a core component of our platform's functionality and uniqueness, and unauthorized duplication is strictly prohibited.
Limited User Rights Using Normies does not grant you ownership or any intellectual property rights related to it. No license is granted to you beyond the ability to use Normies solely for the purpose of initiating transactions facilitated through the platform. This means you can use the application to conduct transactions, but it does not grant you any rights to the platform's intellectual property.
By using Normies, you agree to these terms and acknowledge that intellectual property rights, including the code and other platform components, remain the exclusive property of Normies. Any unauthorized use or replication of these elements may result in legal consequences.
Prohibited Activities
To ensure a safe and constructive environment for all users, we have established guidelines outlining activities that are prohibited while using our platform. By using our services, you commit to complying with these regulations. The following activities are strictly prohibited:
Illegal Transactions Any transaction or action that violates local, national, or international laws, regulations, or ordinances is strictly prohibited. This includes engaging in illegal activities or facilitating transactions related to prohibited goods or services.
Fraud and Misrepresentation You are prohibited from engaging in any form of fraudulent or deceptive activity, including misrepresenting yourself, your identity, or your intentions.
Platform Abuse Any attempt to disrupt the functionality, security, or availability of the platform, including distributing malware or engaging in hacking activities, is strictly prohibited.
Harassment and Discrimination Harassment, hate speech, or any form of discriminatory behavior directed at users or other groups based on race, gender, religion, or other protected characteristics will not be tolerated.
Intellectual Property Violations Using or distributing copyrighted material, trademarks, trade secrets, or any form of intellectual property without proper authorization is prohibited.
Unauthorized Access Any attempt to access, use, or manipulate accounts, data, or systems without explicit permission is strictly prohibited.
Spam and Unwanted Content Sending unsolicited messages, promotions, or any form of spam to other users is not allowed.
Manipulative Trading Engaging in activities that artificially inflate or manipulate the value of cryptocurrencies is prohibited.
Privacy Violations Sharing personal or sensitive information without consent is strictly prohibited.
Violation of Legal Age Restrictions Users must comply with the legal age restrictions in their jurisdiction. Access and use of the platform by minors are not permitted.
Failure to comply with these prohibited activities may result in the suspension or termination of your access to our platform. We are committed to maintaining a safe and inclusive community, and your cooperation in adhering to these guidelines is crucial.
Lawful Use

Adherence to Guidelines Understand and adhere to the Terms and Conditions, Prohibited Activities, and other platform guidelines. Failure to comply may result in access restrictions.
Risk Awareness Recognize the risks associated with cryptocurrency transactions. Make informed decisions and understand that losses may occur.
Liability Release Users are responsible for the accuracy of the information provided and release Normies from all liability for any claims, demands, or losses that may arise or be suffered by the user in the future.
By using Normies, you acknowledge and accept these user responsibilities. Your actions directly impact the culture of the platform and contribute to fostering a safe, respectful, and vibrant community. Unexpected Disruptions

Scheduled Maintenance
Periodic maintenance activities are essential to ensure the stability and security of our platform. We will make every effort to schedule maintenance during off-peak hours and provide advance notice whenever possible.
Emergency Maintenance

Impact on Transactions

By using Normies, you acknowledge that occasional service disruptions may occur due to technical requirements. Limited Acceptance While digital currency adoption is increasing, acceptance remains limited as a payment method. Not all businesses and merchants recognize cryptocurrencies, limiting their practical use.

For our users in Indonesia, it is important to note that the laws governing your engagement with Normies are those of the Republic of Indonesia. By accessing and using our platform, you acknowledge and agree that any disputes or claims arising from your use of Normies will be subject to Indonesian law. Force Majeure
Normies shall not be liable for any delays, failures, or disruptions in providing services if such conditions are beyond our control. These conditions include, but are not limited to, natural disasters, government actions, cyber-attacks, or other unforeseen events that impede the normal operation of the platform. In such cases, Normies will make reasonable efforts to mitigate the impact and resume services as soon as possible. However, you agree that Normies shall not be held responsible for any damage or loss resulting from Force Majeure events affecting the availability or functionality of the platform.
Data Security and Privacy Commitment
Normies is dedicated to ensuring the confidentiality and security of your personal data, documents, information, and personal statements. Consequently, Normies will refrain from engaging in any activities involving the unauthorized collection, processing, sharing, storage, or deletion of your personal information.
In connection with your use of and access to the Normies Services and Platform, you acknowledge and agree that you are bound by Normies' Terms and Conditions available at this link, including any potential future modifications that may occur from time to time. This Privacy Policy is referenced in these Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree with the contents of the Terms and Conditions, you are required to discontinue your use of the Services provided by the Normies Platform.
